1. Introduction

Welcome to LWG Marketplace S/L (“LWG”, “we”, “us”, “our”). These Terms & Privacy Policy govern your use of our marketplace, vendor dashboard, and related services. By registering as a Vendor or purchasing as a Customer, you agree to these terms and to comply with applicable laws. If you do not agree, please discontinue use.

2. Definitions

• Marketplace: the online platform managed by LWG where vendors list and sell products.
• Vendor: a business or individual approved by LWG to list items for sale.
• Customer: a person purchasing goods via LWG.
• COD: Cash on Delivery—payment made at the time of delivery.
• Reverse Withdrawal / Reverse Balance: unpaid commission a vendor owes LWG for COD orders.

3. Use of the Marketplace

Eligibility

• Users must be 18+ and provide accurate registration details.
• Vendors must comply with Sierra Leonean trade and consumer laws and provide documents if requested.

Account Security

• You are responsible for all activity under your account and must keep credentials secure.
• Notify LWG immediately of any unauthorized access.

Vendor Responsibilities

• List only authentic, lawful items with accurate descriptions, pricing, and clear images.
• Fulfil orders promptly (typically within 1–3 business days) and communicate with customers.
• Maintain stock, shipping, and customer service; respect return/refund rights.
• Pay due commissions and reverse balances when required.

Customer Responsibilities

• Provide accurate contact/shipping information and pay using accepted methods.
• Use purchased goods lawfully and report issues promptly.

4. Commission & Fees

• Standard LWG commission is 10% per order (unless otherwise agreed in writing).
• Commission is deducted before vendor payout.
• Shipping fees are received by the vendor; tax handling is centrally managed by LWG.
• Vendor coupons/promotions may require LWG approval.

5. Payments, Payouts & Withdrawals

1. Payment Methods. Accepted methods include Bank Transfer, PayPal, and Cash on Delivery (COD). Online payments are collected at checkout; COD is paid on delivery.
2. Withdrawals. Vendors may request withdrawal when their available balance is at least NLe 200, and the underlying orders are in Processing or Completed status. Approved payout methods: Bank Transfer and/or PayPal. External transfer fees may apply.
3. Reverse Withdrawal (COD Orders). Commission on COD accrues as a reverse balance. When the balance reaches NLe 200, the vendor must settle within 7 days. Failure to settle may result in temporary store suspension, disabled withdrawals, or vendor inactivation until paid. Vendors should upload proof of payment via their dashboard.

6. Returns, Refunds & Disputes

• Customers may request returns within 7 days of delivery for unused goods in original packaging.
• Refunds are processed within 3–7 business days after verification of the return.
• LWG may mediate disputes and may cancel/reverse transactions involving fraud or policy violations.

7. Prohibited Items

Strictly forbidden: counterfeit/stolen goods, firearms, drugs, hazardous materials, explicit adult content, IP-infringing goods, and any items prohibited under Sierra Leonean or international law.

8. Intellectual Property

The LWG website, logos, designs, and software are the property of LWG Partners Network. Vendors grant LWG a non-exclusive license to display product materials for listing/marketing. Users must not copy or misuse content.

9. Data & Privacy

Information We Collect

Personal/business details (name, email, phone, address, banking info), order/transaction data, and usage analytics.

How We Use Data

• To process orders, deliveries, payouts, and support communications.
• To prevent fraud and meet tax/compliance requirements.
• To improve platform performance and user experience.

Sharing & Security

• We share only necessary data with payment processors, logistics partners, or authorities when legally required.
• We use encryption, firewalls, and restricted access to safeguard data. Users must also protect their credentials.

Retention & Rights

Data is retained as required by law. You may request access, correction, or deletion (subject to legal retention) by contacting us.

10. Termination & Suspension

LWG may suspend or terminate accounts for fraud, repeated policy violations, sale of prohibited items, or non-payment of reverse balances/commissions. Funds may be withheld pending investigation or legal obligations.

11. Limitation of Liability

LWG is a marketplace intermediary, not the manufacturer. We are not liable for vendor defects, delays, or misuse by customers. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount paid in the relevant transaction.

12. Updates to These Terms

We may revise these Terms & Privacy Policy and will post the updated date above. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance.
